Psyllium seeds, also known as flea seeds, are the seeds of the plant species Plantago ovata. This is an annual plant from the plantain family, and it occurs naturally in North Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Spain, and the Canary Islands. The seed hulls and seeds of this plant are widely used as psyllium and psyllium husk fibre.

The psyllium is 100% natural and organic. Our psyllium powder consists of more than 99% pure psyllium husk fibres. This makes it one of the purest psyllium husk products on the market. After harvesting, the psyllium seeds and seed husks are often dried whole, chopped or ground into psyllium husk powder.

Psyllium can help as a good and natural bowel movement promoter. It is a natural dietary fibre with hygroscopic, mucilaginous, water-holding and gel-forming properties.
